I painted the wall series after traveling to many of the medieval cities in Croatia, France and Italy. While age has worn away the surface in many areas, the walls still stand strong, look beautiful and house families whose ancestors have lived there for centuries. I use Spackle and house paint to reflect the texture and age of the walls that date back to the 15th and 16th centuries.
